New inspiration photos by Anna Malmberg & Thina Baum
We have had the honor to work a second time with photographer Anna Malmberg. She did our first official photos back in October 2014. Anna used to live in Paris and has got the same passion as we for old French window shutters. That’s how we first found her….
On her agents homepage (Sylvie.se) you can read this about Anna:
“Born in 1981 and raised by two artists in a remote part of northern Sweden, Anna turned to photography as her creative outlet already in her early teens. Studies at GFU, Biskops-Arnö and Bilder Nordic School of Photography at Berghs then led her to assist photo legend Lennart Nilsson, to name but one.
Since setting up her own business she has gained recognition in both native Sweden and Paris, from where she has now returned to Stockholm after living there for four years.
Anna’s imagery is poetic and dreamy, but still direct. With it’s undefinable sheer touch, it goes straight to your heart.”
Stylist for these new photos, which were shot on one of the warmest days this year, is Thina Baum, cofounder of Born Collector. Thina has imagined three different scenes for these six pictures. The first scene, with a darker background, gives the right atmosphere to show our art deco tables and handmade copper pieces. The second scene shows a classic sitting room with a slight bohemian chic touch. The colors are warm and the rawness of the metal table gives a nice contrast to the very cozy sofa with its cushions and sheep fur.
In the third scene, with lots of light flowing in from the big windows, the colors are dominated by white and grey shades. Thina has chosen this dreamy background to show some of our many mirrors.
